“Sleeping With Cars”

“Sleeping With Cars” video was shot this summer in Hahn (near Frankfurt) airport. In this work there are 40 scenes of people sleeping down on the floor of the airport’s departure lounge and two BMW cars standing still at the same space near (around) the sleeping people. This video is documentation of the realtime experience of being in the performance-like situation where the borders between actors and scenography merge. The extreme potency of aerodynamics of the cars, immobility of people and clear, gallery-like space supposes something like a perfect survey for the observation of human and his creation in unison. We hope that viewer will find himself comfortably for the observation/participation.
